Soldiers Call x Hot Stone 2022 Colt

A Real Racy Colt, who looks a proper two-year-old type,  he has an abundance of speed in his pedigree, his Grandam 'Gilded' was a Royal Ascot winner at two. His dam, 'Hot Stone' is a half-sister to a multiple listed winning sprinter. 

Dream Ahead is a damsire that was on our radar coming to the sales season this year,  operating at an impressive 8% stakes winners to runners in 2022 and 2023. This is double the average Damsires strike rate. The Showcasing X Dream Ahead cross has already produced 'Cold Case', a stakes winning colt who finished fourth in a Group 1 just last month. With Soldier's Call (a son of Showcasing) having a tremendous start as a sire, he currently sits in second place in the first season sires list. 

Diego's first year since taking out his full training licence has really caught the eye of many, he has had near misses in Listed and Group races from a limited number of opportunities, Mansa Musa, his star colt, was a 20/1 winner at the Glorious Goodwood Festival. He was subsequently sold to powerful American owners and is being tipped to run in the breeders' cup this November at Santa Anita Park- something most trainers would only dare to dream of, Diego looks ready to achieve in only his first-year training!
